Jordon Davison: "It's been a blessing to gain the coaches trust."

Freshman running back Jordon Davison has been sensational to start the season for the Ducks. The former four-star has cemented his role with the Ducks and has become a bigger focal part of the Oregon offense every week.
Dan Lanning has turned over a new leaf this year, allowing freshmen to speak with the media for the first time. Davison is not the first but one of the latest true freshmen to meet with media after practices.
Here are his top comments from his Tuesday media session.
On the Success:
“It’s just been a blessing. The the coaching staff has been truly so helpful. My teammates, my brothers, especially uh the running back room, they embrace me and we all push each other every day. So, I feel like it’s all expected from all of us in the room.”

On his expanded Role:
It’s been pretty easy. I feel like I was pretty prepared. Like I said, it’s been it’s been a blessing to gain the coach’s trust, especially as a young guy and having other guys in the room that can trust me out there on the field with them. It’s been a blessing.”
On Sharing with Dierre:
“It’s kind of crazy because coming in they was like who do I want to play with? We were watching each other’s film and it was a couple backs and I chose, I actually chose Dierre. His film stuck out to me and then we was connecting like before we got here and then as soon as we got here it just clicked like that’s my right-hand man.”
