Oregon announces home-and-home matchups with Oregon State for 2024, 2025 seasons

The in-state rivalry between the Oregon and Oregon State football teams will continue for at least the next two seasons.
On Thursday, UO announced that the Ducks “will sustain the annual rivalry matchup with Oregon State and provide balance on a year-over-year basis thanks to several changes made by participating teams.”
Originally, with Oregon moving to the Big Ten next season and Oregon State’s conference future uncertain, there was no future matchup scheduled between the two programs.

Next season, Oregon will play at Oregon State on Sept. 14 thanks to a schedule alteration. The Ducks were originally slated to play Boise State that day. But they have shifted the showdown with the Broncos in Eugene to Sept. 7, and the home matchup with Texas Tech that was initially scheduled for that day has been postponed to 2033.
The Red Raiders will instead play Washington State next season.
In 2025, rather than playing at Boise State on Sept. 13, Oregon will host Oregon State on Sept. 20. A three-game contract with the Broncos was reduced to two, with home matchups scheduled for the Ducks in 2024 and 2026.
