The Oregon Ducks debuted at No. 9 in the initial 2025 College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday.

The Oregon Ducks are 7-1 overall and have a 4-1 record in Big Ten play as November begins. They’ll face the No. 20 Iowa Hawkeyes (6-2, 4-1 Big Ten) on the road in Iowa City this weekend. That game will be featured in Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff and be broadcast on CBS.

Oregon has one ranked win on the year against then No. 3 Penn State on the road in the Whiteout. The Nittany Lions have since fallen to 3-5 overall and fired head coach James Franklin. They’re still searching for their first win in Big Ten conference play and anew head coach.

Oregon’s only loss of the year came to the then No. 7 Indiana Hoosiers, who remain undefeated and have climbed to No. 2 in Tuesday’s rankings.
