The Oregon Ducks are on the rise in the AP Top-25 Poll for the second straight week.

The defending Big Ten champions climbed from No. 6 to No. 4 in the latest poll following their 69-3 blowout victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday.

More Oregon dominance

The Ducks dominated from start to finish as Will Stein‘s offense was firing on all cylinders in Week 2. Starting quarterback Dante Moore threw for more than 250 yards and tossed three touchdowns, while freshman sensation Dakorien Moore turned three offensive touches into a pair of touchdowns.

69 points was the most Oregon has scored in a game since they hung 81 on the Portland State Vikings as part of the 2023 non-conference slate. Oregon scored on eight of their twelve drives and the game was never in doubt.

Oregon’s defense came to play too. The Ducks kept the Cowboys out of the end zone on Saturday, their first time doing that since shutting out the Purdue Boilermakers on the road in West Lafayette last season. Oregon’s defense intercepted Oklahoma State quarterback Zane Flores twice in his first start, and returned them both for touchdowns.

The Ducks are now one of six Big Ten teams ranked inside the top 25. Next week the Ducks travel to Evanston, Illinois for their first road matchup of the year against the Northwestern Wildcats.

That game was selected as the host site for Fox’s Big Noon kickoff and the game will start at 9 AM PT.
