Oregon EDGE Commit Richard Wesley Locks In Official Visits

The Ducks made headlines with the commitment of five-star EDGE Richard Wesley a couple of weeks ago. Wesley is the No. 25 ranked player nationally in the On3 Industry Rankings after reclassifying.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pounder is the No. 4 ranked EDGE prospect in this class.
But his commitment started off with some ‘concerning’ comments from family about his decision. Oregon fans are well aware this recruitment is far from over with signing day roughly six months out.

Wesley has outlined his official visit schedule which includes stops at multiple other programs.
The five-star will start things off with an official visit to Oregon on June 6. Giving Dan Lanning and his staff a chance to shut things down possibly for the five-star commit. After that he will visit Texas on June 20 and Ohio State on August 30. Texas A&M is also working on getting an official visit but no date has been set yet.
Oregon currently has the No. 7 ranked recruiting class per On3. Oregon only has 8 commits in this class currently but boasts one of the highest ratings per commitment at 91.96. Only LSU and Bama have a higher score.
