We can’t rule out national signing day surprises when Dan Lanning is in charge. And he once again delivered one this year for Oregon fans.

This time he lands a commitment from Christian Brothers College (Mo.) wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan. The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder has been committed to Ohio State since August 13. But Oregon continued recruiting the four-star including a visit this Fall.

McClellan is a huge get for Oregon filling out its receiver class in 2024. He is currently the No. 52 ranked overall player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the No. 13 ranked wide receiver nationally.

This pairs McClellan with Dillon Gresham and Jack Ressler in Oregon’s prep receiver class.
