Oregon’s search for a quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class remains ongoing. On Wednesday a new name entered the mix as offensive coordinator Will Stein offered 3-star Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta quarterback and Boise State commit Bryson Beaver.

The 6-foot-3, 200 pounder has been committed to the Broncos since April 19 and announced the offer on Instagram.

“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Oregon!” he wrote in a post.

Beaver took his official visit with the Broncos last month, and his recruiting stock has steadily been on the rise leading up to his senior season. He was invited the Elite 11 Finals, scheduled for June 17-19 in Los Angeles, after a standout performance at the Elite 11 Oakland camp last month, where he was named a top performer.

As a junior in 2024 Beaver threw for 3,214 total yards and 33 touchdowns against just six interceptions, completing 66.4% of his passes (229/345) according to MaxPreps. He rushed for 411 yards and two touchdowns on 58 carries (7.1 YPC).

Beaver is one of three quarterbacks Oregon is actively recruiting in the 2026 class, along with 5-star Folsom (Calif.) quarterback Ryder Lyons and 4-star Cincinnati (OH) Archbishop Moeller quarterback Matt Ponatoski.

Lyons is scheduled to take his Oregon official visit this weekend, and the BYU Cougars are believed to be the Ducks’ main competition, with a commitment expected this summer. Ponatoski is a dual-sport standout that also excels as a shortstop on the baseball diamond.

Pontatoski will also be in Los Angeles next week for the Elite 11 Finals and has a top four of Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky and Oregon. He plans to take his Oregon official visit while he’s out on the West Coast the weekend of June 20.
