PODCAST: Oregon Recruiting Hour January 22, 2025

The 2026 recruiting class is taking center stage for Oregon, with nearly all of the top 2025 prospects signed, or in some cases enrolled at their schools of choice. After signing the No. 4 class in the On3 rankings, Dan Lanning and his coaching staff are right back to work on the current junior class.
On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuck’s Max Torres and Justin Hopkins dive into the latest around Ducks recruiting in another edition of the Oregon Recruiting Hour.
They discuss some of the top high school prospects that Lanning and the rest of his coaching staff have been out on the road visiting, specifically in the 2026 class, which already has ten verbal commitments. The Ducks are still looking for their first verbal commitments at wide receiver and defensive back this cycle, but there’s no shortage of elite targets that they’re recruiting.
Oregon has the No. 1 ranked recruiting class this cycle and they’re positioning themselves nicely to continue stacking elite talent. This weekend they’ll host many prospects on return trips, but some will be taking their first trip out to Eugene and the staff hopes to bring them back for another visit in the spring.

A few of the recruits discussed include the nation’s top wide receiver Chris Henry Jr., an Ohio State commit who will return to Eugene for a visit this weekend, as well as elite four-star Folsom (Calif.) quarterback Ryder Lyons.
The Ducks appear to be picking up steam with 2026 Concord (Calif.) De La Salle defensive lineman Nemyah Telona, who will take his first visit to Oregon this weekend after landing an offer from the coaches in the fall.
