ScoopDuck Rose Bowl Gamer: Oregon vs. Ohio State

The No. 1 Oregon Ducks are set to clash with the No. 8 Ohio State Buckeyes in the Rose Bowl. A spot in the College Football Playoff semifinal is on the line as the two teams meet for the first time since October 12, a game Oregon won 32-31 in Eugene.

The Ducks haven’t played since December 7 when they defeated the Penn State Nittany Lions 45-37 in the Big Ten Championship game. That win earned them a first round bye.

Ohio State last played on December 21 against the Tennessee Volunteers in Columbus – a game the Buckeyes won 42-17.

We got a game of the year candidate the first time Oregon and Ohio State met, and the expectation is that we’re in for another great contest on New Year’s Day in Pasadena.
