Oregon Impact: Updated On300 Rankings

The crew at On3 has updated its 2024 rankings. These are On3’s own rankings, not the On3 Industry Rankings.
Oregon has 22 commits in the 2024 class and a few of them saw some movement in the update. With the changes Oregon’s class settles in as the No. 12 ranked recruiting class in the country.
One of Oregon’s current commits, wide receiver Dillon Gresham, saw the biggest bump in the update. The 6-foot, 175-pounder jumped from the No. 211 ranked player up to No. 140. Here is why On3 decided to give him the bump.
Scouting Take: Dillon Gresham has always been an explosive field-stretcher that can take the top off of opposing defenses with ease. But early in his senior season he has proven that he can be a weapon at all levels of the field. He’s shown the ability to win in the middle of the field and as an underneath threat with his change of direction and fluidity as a route runner. He displays this fluidity with the ball in his hands as well by making defenders miss in a phone booth. But don’t get it twisted, Gresham is still a monster of a deep threat and he seems even sharper when it comes to his ball tracking downfield. The more he polishes his game, the higher his floor raises as a receiver prospect. — Cody Bellaire

Additionally another Oregon commit was pushed into the top 300 with the latest update. Oregon linebacker commit Dylan Williams jumped to No. 258 overall.
One other notable from the rankings update. Top offensive tackle target Jordan Seaton earned the highly coveted fifth star from On3. Seaton is expected to take an official visit to Oregon this season after claiming he grew up a Duck fan. Here is why Seaton earned his fifth star.
Offensive tackle Jordan Seaton (No. 7) was an easy call to earn his fifth-star after turning in a very strong start. The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder transferred from Washington (D.C.) St. John’s to IMG Academy for his senior season and has shown to be the most technically advanced offensive tackle in the cycle to this point. Seaton’s high level of skill is readily apparent both on film and in person. He plays with advanced awareness and coordination. The inherent feel for leverage combines with strong hands that stymie pass rushers on contact. He plays with control and balance. We also like Seaton’s physicality and nasty on-field demeanor. We view the new five-star as a high-floor prospect with the ability to get on the field early in his college career.
