Oregon injury report ahead of top 10 showdown with Washington

The No. 8 Oregon Ducks are expected to enter Saturday’s showdown at No. 7 Washington with a nearly entirely healthy roster.
The majority of the program’s 85 scholarship players were able to take part in practice in some capacity during the periods that reporters were able to watch this week.
With kickoff less than 24 hours away, here’s a rundown of which Oregon players may or may not be available for Saturday’s top 10 clash with the Huskies, based on recent practice observations.
Out
RB Noah Whittington: Oregon star running back Noah Whittington will likely miss the remainder of the 2023 season due to a knee injury, according to head coach Dan Lanning. One of the top ball-carriers in the Pac-12, Whittington has rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in four games this season.
K Andrew Boyle: Oregon’s kickoff specialist has yet to practice since the start of the season and is not expected to play on Saturday. With Boyle sidelined, senior placekicker Camden Lewis has handled kickoff duties for the Ducks this season.
Doubtful
OL Lipe Moala: The freshman offensive lineman has been absent from practice for a few weeks and is not expected to play in Week 7.
DL Tevita Pome’e: The freshman defensive lineman returned to practice last month after having been sidelined for several weeks. But it’s unclear if he’s healthy enough to take the field in Week 7 and he is not expected to play.
WR Justius Lowe: The redshirt freshman receiver was absent during the open portion of Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s practices and is not expected to be available against Washington.
Questionable
LB Jestin Jacobs: The standout Iowa transfer took part in full-contact drills on both Tuesday and Wednesday this week and continues to work his way back from the major knee injury he suffered last fall. When asked if Jacobs will play against the Huskies, Lanning said, “We’ll see.”

WR Josh Delgado: The junior receiver is working his way back after suffering a significant leg injury during spring ball. He has been a full participant at practice for several weeks and played a big role for the Ducks’ scout team this week, according to Dan Lanning.
CB Daylen Austin: The freshman cornerback was sidelined during Oregon’s Week 5 win over Stanford, but was a full participant at practice this week.
Probable
OL Nishad Strother: The East Carolina transfer made his season debut during Oregon’s Week 5 win over Stanford and played seven snaps against the Cardinal. Strother was sidelined with an arm injury during the early portion of the season. He was a full participant in practice this week.
CB Khyree Jackson: Oregon’s standout cornerback left the Week 5 win over Stanford with an apparent hip injury. But he was full-go at practice this week and Dan Lanning said Jackson will be available to play against the Huskies.
S Bryan Addison: Oregon’s starting free safety missed the Week 5 win over Stanford due to injury but was full-go at practice this week. As is the case with Khyree Jackson, Dan Lanning said Addison will be available against Washington.
DE Brandon Dorlus: The inclusion of Oregon’s all-conference defensive end here is simply a formality. Dorlus was absent during the open portion of Tuesday’s practice. But he was back at practice on Wednesday and appeared to be full-go.
