Dana Altman got some great news on Saturday morning. ‘Barring any setbacks’ guard Keeshawn Barthelemy plans to return to Oregon for his sixth and final season. He picked up an additional year of eligibility due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The 6-foot-2 guard had his season cut short due to injury. He was able to play in 18 games this season and averaged 7.9 points per game.

His return is a huge boost to the backcourt for Dana Altman. When healthy, Barthelemy and Jackson Shelstad can be a dangerous duo for the Ducks.

From the 2023-2024 season:

Played in 24 games (eight starts) after missing 12 games due to injury … Notched 9.3 points (.411 FG%), 2.4 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 26.0 minutes per game … Season-high 17 points on two occasions, both against Washington State, with the most recent being in the Pac-12 Tournament win … 11 games in double-figures … Season-high eight assists in the NIT matchup vs. UCF, five games with five or more assists (5-0) … One or more steal in 11 games … Season-high three steals in the road win over ASU, along with 15 points, five assists and two rebounds.
