Oregon Duck Washingtonby: Justin Hopkins12/07/23

The Ducks are working the transfer portal at various positions. It’s a management of need, numbers and talent Dan Lanning has to balance.

Late Wednesday night the Ducks offered in-state rival cornerback Jermod McCoy. The 6-foot, 170-pounder was a key starter for the Beavers last season at corner.

McCoy signed with OSU as a part of its 2023 class out of Whitehouse, Texas. He will transfer to his future program as a sophomore.

Along with Oregon, Colorado, USC, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Auburn, Utah, Washington and others have offered. McCoy is one of the hottest names in the portal currently.

Last season McCoy recorded 31 tackles and 2 interceptions.
