Oregon QB Dante Moore the New Heisman Favorite Following Win Over Penn State

Following a 30-24 double overtime win on the road against Penn State, Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore is the new favorite to win the Heisman Trophy, according to the latest Week 5 odds from BetMGM.

Moore completed 29 of his 39 passes for 248 yards and 3 touchdowns against Penn State. He also added 35 yards on the ground on 10 carries. He also set a career high in completions and tied his career high in rush attempts.

Moore has now thrown for at least three touchdowns in four of five games this season. Before this season he’d only done that once. In his five games as Oregon’s starting quarterback, the Detroit native has completed 100 of his 134 passes (74.6% completion) for 1,210 yards and 14 touchdowns against just one interception.
