The Oregon Ducks will start the 2025 college football season ranked inside the top 10. On Monday the Ducks checked in at No. 7 in the preseason AP Poll.

The Ducks are coming off a 13-1 season in 2024 that ended in a 41-21 loss to Ohio State in the College Football Playoff. Oregon will kick off the season at home in at 1:00 pm PT in Eugene on Saturday August 30 against the Montana State Bobcats. Over the weekend, the Ducks opened as a 25.5-point favorite over the Bobcats on FanDuel.

Last month the Ducks were picked third in the Big Ten preseason poll behind Penn State and Ohio State.

Heading into 2025 Dan Lanning and his squad are breaking in a new starting quarterback, four new starters on the offensive line, and a brand new starting group in the secondary. Two of Oregon’s 2025 opponents landed inside the top-25 of Monday’s rankings.
