Oregon Recruiting: Ducks Land Kicker Commit

On Wednesday Oregon got some good news on the recruiting trail. The Ducks were able to secure a verbal commitment from Liberty (Calif.) kicker Grant Meadors.

Meadors is one of the elite prep kickers in the country. He has taken an offer from Oregon as a preferred walk-on.

Oregon special teams coach Joe Lorig came to Eugene ready to put an emphasis on special teams. He has made Oregon one of the top units in the country. The Ducks don’t have a ton of yards in returns but are very good at limiting return yards against.
