Oregon's Devon Williams declares for NFL Draft, will not play in Alamo Bowl

Devon Williams has played his last game as an Oregon Duck.
Williams, Oregon’s leading receiver during the 2021 season, announced Thursday evening that he has declared for the NFL Draft and will not play in the Dec. 29 Alamo Bowl.
Williams finished the season with 557 yards on 35 catches and grabbed four touchdowns. Despite playing scarcely early in the season, he became Oregon’s most prolific pass-catcher midway through Pac-12 play.

Williams finished with a season-high 110 yards and a touchdown on six catches against Oregon State and was the only Duck to finish with 100 receiving yards or more in a game this season.
With Williams’ departure, Troy Franklin now figures to be the starter at the “X” receiver position, with Isaah Crocker and Isaiah Brevard likely factoring in there as well.
