Oregon recruiting continues to catch fire here in the summer, with 2026 5-Star Mobile (Ala.) St. Paul’s Episcopal EDGE Anthony ‘Tank’ Jones committing to Oregon on Thursday. He picked the Ducks over the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Texas A&M Aggies as Dan Lanning, Tosh Lupoi and Kamran Araghi continue to stack elite talent along the defensive line.

Jones’ commitment makes him the second No. 1 prospect in Alabama to pick the Ducks in as many cycles after Oregon landed 5-star+ plus Birmingham (Ala.) Parker cornerback Na’eem Offord in the 2025 class.

On this episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuckOn3’s Max Torres is joined by Rivals Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons to break down Jones’ commitment, as he become the fourth 5-star recruit to commit to the Ducks in the 2026 cycle.

Max and Chad also look ahead to Saturday to preview the commitments of two priority Oregon targets that are set to announce their decisions. 2026 4-star Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian cornerback Davon Benjamin make his college commitment from a top group featuring Oregon, Michigan, Texas, Washington and North Carolina. Benjamin took official visits to each of his top schools and the Ducks are trending on the Rivals recruiting prediction machine.

2026 4-star Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill defensive lineman Deuce Geralds will make his college commitment from a top group consisting of Oregon, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State and Ole Miss. Geralds took an official visit to Oregon and his other top schools and like Benjamin, the Ducks are trending on the Rivals recruiting prediction machine as well.
