2026 3-star Boise (ID) Timberline wide receiver Hudson Lewis has flipped his commitment from the Utah Utes to the Oregon Ducks.

The 5-foot-9, 170-pound pass catcher had been committed to Utah since September 21, but a weekend offer from Ross Douglas and Oregon was too good to pass up.

“It’s 100 percent the dream,” Lewis told Rivals’ Adam Gorney of his decision to pick the Ducks. “It’s just a blessing. I always dreamed of this as a kid and there were times where I didn’t know if I’d be able to get to a school like this but it fell down to me a few weeks before signing day so just a blessing.”

The newest Duck pledge was on campus in Eugene for his first Oregon visit when the Ducks faced Wisconsin last month.

It’s been clear for a while now that Oregon wanted to add another pass catcher to their 2026 class and now the Ducks have their answer. Lewis is third wide receiver commit for Oregon this cycle, joining 5-star Lucas (Tex.) Panther Creek wide receiver Jalen Lott and 4-star Rochester (NY) James Monroe wide receiver Messiah Hampton in the Ducks’ 2026 haul.

The Idaho prep recently made the move to quarterback for Timberline after their starting quarterback suffered an injury and he’ll compete for a state title on Saturday. Lewis is expected to be an early enrolle and join Oregon this winter.

Oregon is also expected to welcome former 5-star wide receiver Gatlin Bair (class of 2024) to the team for the 2026 season after he wraps up his mission with the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter Day Saints.
