QUAAACK: 4-Star LB Braylon Hodge Commits to Oregon

2026 4-star Englewood (CO) Cherry Creek linebacker Braylon Hodge has committed to Oregon. He announced his pledge to the Ducks on social media Friday.
Hodge is ranked the No. 172 prospect nationally, the No. 9 linebacker and the No. 1 prospect in Colorado according to the Rivals300.
The 6-foot-3, 212-pounder was previously committed to Michigan State before reopening his recruitment and backing off that pledge on October 10.
The Colorado standout chose Oregon over fellow finalists Michigan and Texas. He took official visits to Michigan and Oregon and an unofficial visit to Texas.

“It was really their ability to develop players,” Hodge said of Oregon’s message on his official visit. “They bring a lot of good players through here, develop them and send them to the next level. And that’s really the message to me. That’s really important to me, because that’s one of the main things I’m looking for in my recruitment process.”
With Hodge in the fold, he joins 4-star Ventura (Calif.) linebacker Tristan Phillips in Brian Michalowski‘s position room. He’s the 18th overall commitment in Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class, which ranks second in the Big Ten behind only USC.
The Ducks are now likely finished at linebacker for the 2026 cycle and they’ll continue to focus on adding a few key pieces along the defensive line and in the secondary.
