QUAAACK: Top-50 WR Kesean Bowman Commits to Oregon

2027 4-star Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy wide receiver Kesean Bowman has committed to Oregon. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound receiver announced his commitment Thursday morning, picking the Ducks from an offer sheet that featured 37 schools, including Ohio State, LSU and Oklahoma among others.
Bowman is the No. 49 prospect nationally, the No. 10 wide receiver and the No. 2 player in Tennessee according to the 2027 Rivals300 rankings. As a sophomore in 2024 he caught 56 passes for 1,023 yards and 8 touchdowns.
He’s the first wide receiver commit in Oregon’s 2027 recruiting class and just the second overall prospect alongside 4-star Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson EDGE Cam Pritchett, who committed to the Ducks in June.
The Tennessee product landed an offer from the Douglas and the Ducks in March and he took his first visit out to Eugene in June.

“I just enjoyed being around the coaches. They just show a lot of love,” Bowman told ScoopDuck following the trip. “Treated me and pops well. Just made sure they had a connection with you. And just keep building relationships. I say the facilities, they have everything a player needs, whether it’s from recovery, working out, or meetings, or just hanging out with your teammates. Just what a player needs at Oregon.”
Bowman is the third wide receiver to commit to Oregon since Douglas was hired by Dan Lanning, following in the footsteps of 4-star Rochester (NY) James Monroe receiver Messiah Hampton and most recently 4-star Lucas (Tex.) Panther Creek athlete Jalen Lott in the 2026 class.
