REPORT: Bott Mulitalo Decommits From Oregon, Ducks Lose Four-Star DL

2026 four-star American Fork (UT) Lone Peak defensive lineman Bott Mulitalo has decommitted from Oregon, according to a report from Blair Angulo of 247sports.
The 6-foot-3 1/2, 260-pound defender had been committed to Oregon since December 1. He chose the Ducks over competing offers from the likes of Washington, USC, Utah, BYU and Texas A&M.
His decommittment from the Ducks comes on the heels of a trip to Washington over the weekend, where he visited Seattle for the Huskies’ Junior Day.
With Mulitalo backing off his pledge, Oregon has four commitments along the defensive line. Tony Cumberland, Tomuhini Topui, Viliami Moala and Dutch Horisk remain committed to the Ducks.
Topui has been in the headlines recently after visiting USC for Junior Day last month as the Trojans lurk and actively push to flip one of Oregon’s two Mater Dei commitments (Kodi Greene).

Mulitalo was one of two prospects with Utah roots committed to Oregon, the other being Moala. Moala transferred from Odgen (UT) Bingham to Eugene (Ore.) Willamette ahead of his senior season. He’ll team up with fellow Oregon commit Tony Cumberland.
Oregon was already recruiting other defensive linemen in the 2026 prior to Mulitalo’s decommittment, including newly On3 Industry five-star EDGE Anthony Jones, newly reclassified four-star defensive lineman Richard Wesley and four-star Derek Colman-Brusa among others.
Following the news of Mulitalo backing off his commitment, Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class now ranks No. 2 nationally according to On3 Sports.
