Report: Oregon WR Tez Johnson Expected Back This Season

One of Oregon’s two key injuries from the weekend might have a bit of clarity. ESPN college football reporter Pete Thamel delivered an update on Oregon star receiver Tez Johnson on Monday.
His report suggests Johnson will return this season with an unclear timeline. The star receiver left the game against Michigan earlier after taking a hard hit to the ground and noticeably injuring his shoulder.
On Sunday we had a similar report on ScoopDuck suggesting Johnson would likely miss the remainder of the regular season. Thamel echoed with saying “he’s expected back later this year” with no precise timeframe.

Johnson leads Oregon with 649 yards and 8 touchdowns this season.
Oregon’s remaining regular season schedule includes Maryland at home this weekend, at Wisconsin in two weeks, a bye and then the finale at home against Washington.
Dan Lanning is expected to hold his weekly press conference later Monday night. I’m sure coach will be asked about the injury and this subsequent report.
