The former Oregon quarterback finished his college career with over 18,000 yards. He accounted for 155 touchdowns and 32 interceptions in 64 games. He also accounted for over 1,200 yards on the ground and another 32 rushing touchdowns.
Cleveland selected Gabriel in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft. The Browns also drafted former Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders two rounds later. Many have speculated about which of the two might eventually be ready to take over for the aging Flacco.
It appears Gabriel will get the first crack at it this weekend.
