It comes with a pretty big smile on my face that I can finally share this news with all of you.

After some careful consideration and a lot of hard work behind the scenes, we have joined the On3 Sports Network.

What does that mean?

It means ScoopDuck just got a massive boost. Like a supercharger strapped on a Tesla.

One of the things founder Shannon Terry told us all at 247Sports during its beginning stages is that it would not be ‘Rivals 2.0’. Which simply meant it would be different from its predecessor.

Well On3 will not be 247Sports 2.0 just the same.

This site will remain under my control, under my direction. I retain ownership almost exactly the same as I have since starting ScoopDuck back in March of 2016.

But now I have even more weapons at my disposal. A functional database, national and recruiting experts like Ivan Maisel, Chad Simmons, Gerry Hamilton and many others.

And a whole host of way smarter folks than myself that will help supercharge this engine and raise the profile of ScoopDuck through social media and search engines.

It wasn’t just about joining a network that led me to make this decision. It was the vision Shannon Terry had for On3. It will not be 247Sports or Rivals 2.0. The goal will be 100-percent fan driven. Creating the ultimate fan experience in a one-stop shop.

We’re just getting started. Whatever bells or whistles you think we might be missing, I assure you Phase I is far from the finished product. We’ll have all the firepower of our competitors and then some.

Sure Shannon and I might have a bit of history with him being my former boss at 247Sports. But he was very clear on his impressions of ScoopDuck and quite confident we can and will build an absolute monster in this market.

Together and with his team, that is exactly my plan. Adding all of the elements to ScoopDuck to give you the best fan experience in the Oregon market.

Thank you all for the support to get me to this point, to make ScoopDuck a hot commodity with a network wizard like Shannon Terry.

But buckle up because the best is yet to come.
