It’s just about 24 hours out and the natives are getting restless. Let’s be honest, your work productivity today is in the toilet.

Oregon and Colorado will kickoff tomorrow. But our second to last roundtable is ready. This time us predicting who is the offensive player of the game. Below are the picks, nearly unanimous.

Check them out.

Joel Gunderson: Bo Nix

I’ve avoided picking Nix for the first three weeks of the season because I assumed the staff would bring him along slowly.

Now, with potentially 10-12 million eyes on this game, it’s time for the restraints to come off and for Bo to unleash all his skills. Colorado’s defense is terrible, Oregon’s skill players are outstanding, and there’s an opportunity to jump Nix’s Heisman campaign into overdrive.

I’m not big into predicting stats, but I wouldn’t be shocked if Nix throws for over 400 yards, 4+ touchdowns, and maybe grabs another on the ground.

The media built the stage for Colorado, but Nix reminds everyone why he’s so valuable.

Jarrid Denney: The offensive line

Oregon has an abundance of skill position players who are capable of giving Colorado headaches on Saturday. But I think the offensive line is going to put on an absolute clinic against a Buffs’ defensive front that will be completely outmatched from a talent and physicality standpoint.

Corpatty: Bo Nix

While I think Oregon is going to control the game on the ground, I think Nix will shine on the big stage.  In what many are billing as a matchup between star QBs, I expect Nix to play very efficiently, taking shots when they are there and completing a high percentage of his passes.

Look for Nix to shine on Saturday.

Doug Scott: Bucky Irving

Bucky is due for a monster game, and this one feels like a game where Oregon will use their dominance in the trenches to lean on the running game on their way to 250+ rushing yards on the night.

Jhop: Bo Nix

I hate to do this, but the right choice is the right choice. And Bo Nix is the right choice. We could pick him every week, sure. But this is a national stage and there will be a TON of eyes on this game. Oregon knows that. And this is Bo’s chance to make a push for the Heisman. He will get that chance on Saturday.

I know Oregon will pound the rock but they will match that with some big chances down the field for back-breakers.
