It’s the mid-way point of the week which means we have our score prediction roundtable. Typically our most popular of the week.

A very tough game on the road lays ahead for Oregon. Can Michigan do enough offensively to remain in the game for four quarters? Here are our predictions below for the ScoopDuck readers.

What’s your score prediction?

Collin King: Oregon 38-14

Going on the road at Michigan last year likely would have been far harder for Oregon to win, but with the offense in the shape that it is in, I really wonder how much of a threat Michigan can pose to Oregon. I expect Oregon to have a strong first half as they have been doing ever since Big Ten play started. The crowd will definitely be the most difficult environment Oregon plays in this year, but I think the Ducks show a ton of poise this week.

Max Torres: Oregon 35-13

Oregon is rolling right now and continuing to improve week by week. The offensive line faces perhaps its greatest test yet against the Michigan front, but I think they’ll be able to pound the rock after seeing what an underwhelming Michigan State squad did last week. Michigan’s offense has been sputtering all year and if the Ducks can bottle up the run and play a clean game it could get ugly in Ann Arbor.

Linden Hile: Oregon 28-17

It’s not that I think this will be an especially close matchup but hear me out. Michigan will come out and try to limit possessions and plays for the Ducks by hogging clock with the run game. With defensive lineman Jordan Burch potentially out for another week, the Wolverines could be able to find some success on the ground.

I expect Oregon’s offense to be sharp but not have a ton of time to work with as Michigan tries to keep the game ‘in the phonebooth’ so to speak.

Jhop: Oregon 37-24

The most points Michigan has given up this year is 31 points to Texas. The reality is, Michigan plays well at home and defense isn’t the problem this season. They are tough and they are stingy. But they can’t score and that is the problem. I think this game will set up to be a bit more wide open than most expect. Oregon should get on the board early and I think they get up at the half. But Michigan will battle back and make it respectably close in the second half.
