About BeaverBlitz

Since 2002, BeaverBlitz has been the #1 fan site where Oregon State fans come for their Beaver sports news and community.

What began as a small volunteer effort in the early days of online sports communities has grown into one of the longest-running and most trusted sources of Oregon State football news, recruiting information, analysis and community.

Through conference realignment, coaching changes, national championships, losing seasons, breakthrough seasons and everything in between, BeaverBlitz has been there.

And through it all, one thing has never changed: Our unwavering commitment to covering Oregon State and building the best community for the people who love the Beavers.

On September 1, 2026, BeaverBlitz began another chapter by joining On3/Rivals, bringing the site back to the network where its story began.

For us, it’s more than a change in platform. It’s a reunion with the people and recruiting network that helped shape the site in its earliest years—and an opportunity to build on everything we’ve accomplished over the past 23 years.

Former BeaversEdge publisher Brenden Slaughter joins BeaverBlitz as editor after a decade leading the Rivals team. Joining us are beat writers Davis Doan, Cass Smith, Ryan Harlan and Brogan Slaughter, features writer Spencer Newell, analyst Dylan Callaghan-Croley and photographer Andy Cripe.

Longtime contributor Jeff Perry also makes the move, bringing the popular JP’s Weekly Walk-Off back to the On3/Rivals platform.

We’re bringing together experience, new voices and a shared passion for Oregon State. It’s a new chapter, but it’s still BeaverBlitz.
