Penn State basketball’s 2025-26 schedule is officially official. Announced Tuesday afternoon, the Big Ten put tip times and television broadcast assignments to the Nittany Lions’ 20 league games, completing the details for all but one of the program’s 31 games.

Opening conference play with a two-game set in December, the Nittany Lions will face Indiana in Bloomington on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 8:30 p.m. with an FS1 broadcast designation. The Nittany Lions will follow with a Saturday afternoon home game against Michigan State set for noon on the Big Ten Network.

Resuming Big Ten play in January, Penn State will return to Philadelphia for its now-annual Palestra pilgrimage on the 3rd. That game will have a primetime tip, set for 7 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. Returning to the BJC for the follow-up, the Nittany Lions will host Michigan on Tuesday, Jan. 6 for a 7 p.m. tip on FS1.

The first of eight away dates in the next 13 games is to follow, traveling to Purdue on Jan. 10 for a 2 p.m. tip (BTN), followed by UCLA (8:30 p.m., FS1), a Sunday trip to Maryland on the 18th (noon, BTN), Wisconsin at the BJC (7 p.m., FS1), and back-to-back away dates at Ohio State on the 26th (7 p.m., FS1) and Northwestern on the 29th (8 p.m., Peacock) to close out the month.

Enjoying a bye week in February, the Nittany Lions will host Minnesota on Sunday the 1st (2 p.m., Peacock) to round out the athletic department’s showcase weekend featuring a Saturday hockey double-header at Beaver Stadium. The program will then face its first repeat opponent on the conference schedule, traveling to Michigan on Thursday the 5th (6:30 p.m., FS1).

Back at home to welcome Southern Cal on Sunday, Feb. 8 (noon, BTN), the Nittany Lions will get three-straight against the league’s newest additions, traveling to Washington on Wednesday the 11th (10:30 p.m., BTN), and Oregon on Valentine’s Day (3 p.m., BTN) before returning to the BJC to host Rutgers on Wednesday the 18th (6 p.m., BTN) and traveling to Nebraska on Saturday the 21st (2 p.m., BTN).

Taking a week between games, the Nittany Lions close out the regular season with home dates against Iowa on Saturday the 28th (noon, BTN), and Ohio State on the 4th (7:30 p.m., Peacock) before wrapping up with a trip to Rutgers on Sunday, March 8 (noon, BTN).

In total, including the Palestra game, Penn State will be at home for Saturday games twice and Sunday afternoon games three times.
