Penn State welcomed five official visitors and over a dozen committed players to campus Friday through Sunday.

In addition to quarterback Jaxon Smolik, who committed back in August, James Franklin and his staff welcomed defensive ends Joseph Mupoyi and Mason Robinson, running back Kedrick Reescano and transfer portal wide receiver Dante Cephas all for official visits.

With the early signing period just 10 days away now, the Nittany Lions are down to just a handful of scholarships remaining in the Class of 2023. 23 total signees has been the projected number for months, although it’s possible they could exceed that if they find a player who’s too good to pass up.

For the latest information on how Penn State’s visit weekend went, BWI’s Ryan Snyder provided some news & notes on our Lions Den message board. Fans can read it all there.
