Penn State is hosting its final camp of June Friday, and it’s the biggest yet. After hosting a smaller 7-on-7 tournament earlier this month, Friday’s tournament is expected to see more than 50 high schools from across the Mid-Atlantic region participate.

Top programs like Imhotep Charter, DeMatha and Good Counsel will all be on hand, as well as many others who feature Division I talent.

Penn State fans can follow all the updates inside The Lions Den throughout Friday. BWI’s Nate Bauer, Greg Pickel and Ryan Snyder will all be in attendance throughout the day, both at the intramural fields and down at the Lasch Building.

INSIDE THE DEN: UPDATES FROM FRIDAY’S 7-ON-7 TOURNAMENT

Below are some notable prospects that we expect to be in attendance. You can read the complete breakdown that we posted earlier this week below.

Pennsylvania Schools

Imhotep Charter

In the Class of 2023, three-star safety Rahmir Stewart put Penn State in his top six back in May. But, he currently seems to be a bit down the program’s board at that position. Then, there is four-star linebacker Semaj Bridgeman. He just transferred into the Panthers’ program but doesn’t have the Lions among his top options.

Four-star Jahsear Whittington is an On3 Consensus four-star who committed to Pitt back in April. He’s part of the 2024 class, as is four-star corner Kenneth Woseley Jr. Woseley holds an offer from the Lions and we expect the staff to pursue him hard.

In the Class of 2025, edge Zahir Mathis has a Lions offer and other FBS suitors already. So, too, does running back Jabree Wallace-Coleman, while corner Naim Dantzler holds a Boston College offer.

Aliquippa

The defending PIAA Class 4A champs always put on a good showing at the Penn State team camp. Linebacker Cameron Lindsey is already an On3 Consensus Class of 2024 four-star with offers from the likes of the Lions, West Virginia, and Cincinnati. Classmate and corner Brandon Banks, then, has a few Group of Five offers. Class of 2025 athlete Tiqwai Hayes figures to be a top Class of 2025 recruit. He already holds seven Power-5 opportunities, including the Lions.

Neumann-Goretti

Class of 2023 recruit corner Shawn Battle is a Boston College commit. Class of 2024 defensive lineman Deshon Dodson already carries a four-star rating in the On3 Consensus and is considered a top-200 player. He has a Penn State offer, as does three-star corner Khari Reid.

Other Notables

DeMatha Catholic

We know that four-star Class of 2023 lineman Jason Moore won’t be on hand, as his official visit to Ohio State is this weekend. The same goes for three-star athlete Dante Lovett, a Virginia Tech commit who has his official to Blacksburg this weekend. Three-star senior offensive tackle Oluwatosin Babalade doesn’t have Penn State in his top seven but could be on hand for the linemen challenge regardless. So, too, could three-star Boston College guard commit Michael Crounse. Three-star safety Tawfiq Byard could be on the 7-on-7 field, as well.

Class of 2024 Stags to know include new addition and four-star running back Tovani Mizell, three-star linebacker Simeon Coleman, and three-star defensive lineman Emmett Laws. Class of 2025 prospects include linebacker Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng, quarterback Denzel Gardner, and running back Bud Coombs.

Good Counsel

Will we see Class of 2023 defensive lineman Neeo Avery, a former Penn State commit who didn’t include the Lions in his new list of top schools, and Dylan Gooden? Time will tell.

Moving on to the Class of 2024, we hope to see four-star linebacker and top-60 player Aaron Chiles. He headlines a junior class that includes running back Dilin Jones, who has multiple Power-5 offers but not yet one from the Lions, four-star On300 receiver Elijah Moore, three-star corner Judah Jenkins, three-star lineman Kyle Alturner, quarterback Frankie Weaver, and end Darien Mayo.

Athletes Peyton Nelson and Faheem Delane, then, are two Class of 2025 names to know.
