What did Northwestern coach David Braun, Penn State players, say about the Wildcats' 22-21 win?

STATE COLLEGE — Northwestern coach David Braun is the second program leader of the year to celebrate in the visiting media room inside of Beaver Stadium. He brought his Wildcats into State College and earned a signature 22-21 victory over Penn State, which fell to 3-3 on the season.
“I’m really proud of our guys,” Braun said. “We’ve got a locker room full of men who’ve been working and believing, and they showed that tonight. To have an opportunity like this, in a place like Penn State, and to see our leadership tested, guys like Mac Uihlein, I couldn’t be more proud of how they responded. It wasn’t one of our stated goals to get to this point, but our players earned it in 24 hours by trusting the process and staying committed. I think this football team has grown a lot. They’ve faced tough situations, shown resilience, and kept responding. Now, it’s about shifting our focus, getting back to work, and finding ways to keep improving each day.”
The visitors took advantage of both the Nittany Lions’ weaknesses and numerous miscues throughout the contest.
“The message was really that we were facing a football team with its back against the wall, maybe even questioning who they are,” Braun said. “We knew they’d come out hungry at home, ready to fight. Our guys responded to that challenge. We knew Penn State had talent, but we also believed they could be attacked. Our players stepped up, stayed composed in a tough environment, and showed who we are as a team. That’s a reflection of our identity, we know who we are, and we execute together.”
What did Penn State players say after the loss?
Penn State players were shell-shocked for two reasons after the game. First, because a season that started with College Football Playoff hopes has led to that no longer being a possibility. And then, the team found out that senior starting quarterback Drew Allar is now out for the season.

This week’s buffet of quotes is below.
“I love Drew. He’s a great leader. He’s a great person. And I think he’s one hell of a quarterback. So, I mean, it just sucks to get that news for a guy that has worked so hard all season just to be the best person he can be and be the best leader he can be. So like, my heart goes out. We’re going to just be there for him. And, you know, I know [Ethan Grunkemeyer] is next up. So, you know, just being there for him too, as he kind of transitions into the role he’s going to transition into. And just, I got nothing but love for Drew.”

“Look yourself in the mirror. The bleeding will continue as long as you allow it. You have to be critical on yourself. Everybody has mistakes. I’m going to have mistakes, so you have to be critical of yourself. Don’t just look at the good, look for the bad. Find ways to grow, so we can improve from this.”
Penn State DT Zane Durant on how the Lions move forward.
“Oh, I mean, the biggest thing to play for is just the love of the game. We love each other and we want to go 1-0 every single week. We’re going to rally around each other and keep playing for each other.”
