Way back in June, Keylan “Keke” Abrams became the first commitment in Purdue’s class of 2025. Today, he became the first de-commitment, making the announcement on social media today.

Abrams is a three-star linebacker from DeSoto, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. He was at Purdue’s camp last summer. Abrams was named the Dallas Morning News Defensive Player of the Year after the 2023 season.

The 6-1, 205-pound Abrams received an offer earlier this month from TCU, which is believed to be his dream school.

Purdue still has four commitments in its 2025 class: cornerback Tarrion Grant, quarterback Sawyer Anderson, outside linebacker Rashad Jones, running back Ziaire Stevens.
