While Purdue looked to bounce back in West Lafayette, several former Boilermakers will look to make an impact on Sundays this fall. Some play prominent roles, while others struggled their way through training camp. Today, GoldandBlack.com looks at how former Purdue players fared in Week 15 of the NFL Season.

DERRICK BARNES – DETROIT LIONS

As the Lions fell to the Rams in a 41-34 shootout, Barnes recorded three tackles. Detroit, now 8-6, needs a win vs. Pittsburgh at 4:25 p.m. EST on Sunday to stay alive in the playoff conversation.

PAYNE DURHAM – TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

The third-year tight end lined up for 45 of Tampa Bay’s 69 snaps of offense in a 29-28 loss to Atlanta on Thursday. He did not see any targets, used primarily as a blocker instead. Tampa Bay plays at 1 p.m. EST next Sunday at Carolina.

JALEN GRAHAM – SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Graham, the third-year linebacker, was active in San Francisco’s win over Tennessee, but he did not record any stats. He will return to the state of Indiana for a Monday Night Football clash in Indianapolis against the Colts.

CHARLIE JONES – CINCINNATI BENGALS

Jones returned a kickoff for 20 yards and a punt in the Bengals’ 24-0 loss to Baltimore. Now a mere 4-10, Cincinnati will see warm weather in Miami for an early afternoon Sunday kickoff this week.

GEORGE KARLAFTIS – KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Karlaftis recorded three tackles, one for a loss, and registered a quarterback hit in Kansas City’s 16-13 loss to the Chargers. Now 6-8, Kansas City has been eliminated from playoff contention. 2025 will mark George Karlaftis’ first professional season without appearing in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs will play at Tennessee on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST.

MARCUS MBOW – NEW YORK GIANTS

Mbow was active but did not play in New York’s 29-21 loss to Washington. He and the Giants will host the Vikings on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST.

RAHEEM MOSTERT – LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Mostert caught a pass and returned a kickoff for 18 yards as Las Vegas fell 31-0 at Philadelphia. The 2-12 Raiders will take on Houston at 4:25 p.m. EST next Sunday.

AIDAN O’CONNELL – LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

O’Connell backed up Kenny Pickett in the Raiders’ 31-0 thumping against the Eagles. He’s not taken a snap yet in 2025, but the 2-12 Raiders still have three games left. Las Vegas heads to Houston for a 4:25 p.m. EST kickoff on Sunday.

TYRONE TRACY JR. – NEW YORK GIANTS

Tracy found the end zone twice, once on the ground and once through the air, in New York’s 29-21 loss to Washington. He finished the game with 15 carries for 70 yards and three catches for 27 yards. The 2-12 Giants will take on Minnesota at 1 p.m. EST on Sunday.
