SMU OL Logan Parr announces return to Mustangs for 2025 season

“I got one more in,” SMU offensive lineman Logan Parr said in his meme on Twitter on Tuesday, announcing his return to the Mustangs for 2025.
“God is good,” Parr said. “I am excited to announce that I am 100% locked in for next season at SMU! SMU is home and that’s where I’m staying. Pony Up.”
This season while anchoring the left guard position, Parr was named a Third Team All-ACC performer. This year, he played in 12 games for SMU after recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.
In 2023, he started 13 of 14 games at left guard for the Mustangs in his first season with the program.

Prior to SMU, Parr spent three seasons with the Longhorns, playing in 16 total games. All but one appearance came under head coach Steve Sarkisian, playing on the interior offensive line. He played in 12 games on special teams and in back-up duty in 2022.
Parr played high school football at Helotes (Tex.) O’Connor, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 236 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
The Mustangs take on Penn State on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT on TNT in the first round of the College Football Playoff. SMU will need Parr and the rest of the offensive line to be at its very best for one of its toughest tests of the season.
