SMU vs. No. 9 Miami: How to watch, live stream, start time, TV channel

SMU returns to Ford Stadium for Homecoming on Saturday as the Mustangs take on the No. 10 team in the country, the Miami Hurricanes. Head coach Rhett Lashlee knows the Mustangs have a tall task ahead of them and they’ll be ready for that challenge.
“I mean, you gotta be motivated every week, so it doesn’t matter who you play or where you play them,” Lashlee said Tuesday. “But if you’re not motivated to play a national championship contender this year, and a top-10 team that’s littered with future NFL players, then you’re not a competitor.
“I mean, that’s why these guys came to SMU — to play in games like this. That’s why we moved to the ACC — to play in games like this. But it’s a great challenge. They’re really good.”

Spread for SMU vs. Miami
The Mustangs currently sits as a 12.5-point underdog against the Hurricanes. BetMGM set the over/under at 51.5 points. The lower total likely has to do with SMU’s subpar offensive display against Wake Forest a week ago.
For Miami, this is another chance for Mario Cristobal’s team to show it’s not going to fade as the stakes get higher in the month of November. Miami would need some help to get to the ACC Championship, but like SMU, it’s possible heading into Saturday’s showdown.
“Tremendous opportunity. Besides the fact you’re playing a great team, it’s another conference game, like we’ve talked about all year long. Every single game that you play, even out-of-conference games, they’re all playoff games,” Cristobal said on Monday. “They all have value, right? And then when you head in a conference play, as the weeks go by, right, the level of difficulty and importance just continues to elevate. So for us, it’s always about a 1-0 focus, making sure that we take care of our business, making sure that we are preparing in the manner of whether it be a walk through, a meeting, a practice, that we’re preparing to our standards so we can execute to the best that we possibly can. So that’s our approach.”
