First! Dante Reno signs with South Carolina

It’s signing day in South Carolina, and signatures from prospects have started to roll in for Shane Beamer’s Gamecocks program.
The first prospect to officially ink with South Carolina football is Cheshire (MA) Academy quarterback Dante Reno.

He is rated by the On3 Industry Ranking as a three-star prospect. Reno is additionally ranked as the 456th-best prospect in the 2024 class and the 28th-best quarterback prospect nationally.
Reno is the fifth-best prospect in the state of Connecticut.
