Meechie Johnson named SEC Player of the Week

After one of his best games of the year, Meechie Johnson has been named SEC Player of the Week.
Johnson finished with 24 points on 6-of-12 shooting against Mississippi State last Saturday. He also went 9-for-11 at the free throw line while adding six rebounds and two assists.
His biggest play of the game came in the final seconds as he stripped the ball away from the Bulldogs to force a turnover. It was the difference in what would be a 68-62 win for South Carolina.
