Analysis: Jaylin Dickerson moving into coaching role

Former South Carolina football defensive back Jaylin Dickerson has already transitioned into his role with the coaching staff as a student assistant Gamecock Central is told. Dickerson, who had already been granted an additional year of eligibility due to missing two full seasons via injuries, technically could have played for the Gamecocks both this season and in 2023 for what would have been the incredibly rare (and possibly unprecedented) seventh year of college football.
