South Carolina set to play doubleheader on Saturday

Mark Kingston previews South Carolina-Arkansas baseball series

With rain in the forecast all day on Sunday, South Carolina and Arkansas will play a doubleheader on Saturday.

Both games will be nine innings with the first contest starting at 1 p.m. There will be an hour break in between games.

The Gamecocks will open their three-game series with the Razorbacks on Friday. First pitch is at 7 p.m. on SEC Network Plus. Roman Kimball (2-1, 4.71 ERA) will get the start on the mound.

COLUMBIA – The University of South Carolina baseball team will now play Arkansas in a doubleheader on Saturday, April 20 at 1 p.m. due to the rain that is scheduled for the Midlands all day Sunday.

The two teams will open the three-game series tonight (Friday, April 19) at 7 p.m. and then play two games tomorrow. Both games will be nine-inning contests. There will be an hour break between the two games.

Both games will be on the Gamecock Sports Network, 107.5 FM in Columbia, and streamed on SEC Network Plus.

TICKET INFORMATION: Ticket holders who have the Saturday, April 20th SERIES GM2 reserved tickets will be able to sit in their seats for the 1 p.m. game until the game concludes and then move to the Corner Pantry Berm/SRO areas for the second game of the doubleheader.

Ticket holders who have Sunday, April 21st SERIES GM3 reserved tickets can come in for the 1 p.m. game and go to the Corner Pantry Berm/SRO areas and then move into their seats when the 1 p.m. game concludes.
