How To Watch: Tennessee Football’s home opener vs. ETSU

Tennessee Football opens the home schedule against East Tennessee State Saturday afternoon at Neyland Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time, streaming on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.
The Vols (1-0) opened the season with a 45-26 win over Syracuse in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. ETSU (1-0) beat Murray State 45-17 in Johnson City.
Tennessee has faced ETSU just once in program history, beating the Bucs 59-3 at Neyland Stadium on September 8, 2018.

A closer look at ETSU
ETSU quarterback Cade McNamara spent the last two seasons at Iowa and played three seasons at Michigan before transferring the Bucs. He completed 12 of 17 passes for 176 yards with a touchdown and an interception on Saturday against Murray State.
McNamara appeared in 13 games at Iowa over the last two seasons, completing 57.3% of his passes and throwing for 1,522 yards with 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Joey Aguilar completed 16 of 28 passes for 247 yards and three touchdowns in his debut as Tennessee’s starting quarterback on Saturday. He ran six times for 34 yards, with a long of 25, and had touchdown passes of 73 yards to Braylon Staley, 7 yards to Star Thomas and 2 yards to Miles Kitselman.
The Vols ran 40 times as a team for 246 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Thomas had 12 carries for 92 yards, DeSean Bishop ran 1 times for 82 yards and a touchdown and Peyton Lewis had eight attempts for 38 yards. Bishop also caught two passes for 44 yards.
Chris Brazzell II led Tennessee in targets (8) and receptions (5) to go with his 62 yards receiving, including a long of 18. Staley caught four passes for 95 yards, including the 73-yard touchdown in the second quarter, and Mike Matthews caught two passes on five targets for 29 yards.
