Appalachian State transfer running back Nate Noel commits to Missouri
Appalachian State transfer running back Nate Noel has committed to play at Missouri next season.
Noel spent the first four seasons of his college career all with the Mountaineers, scoring 18 career touchdowns and ranking eighth in school history with 3,074 rushing yards.
He started the 2023 season by rushing for over 100 yards in App State’s first five games, but he ended up missing three full games and large portions of others due to injuries, ending the season with 834 yards on the ground and five touchdowns. 2021 would end up representing Noel’s breakout year, leading the Sun Belt with 1,126 rushing yards and runs of 10+ yards with 31 on the season, earning First-Team All-Conference honors.
Noel played high school football at Miami (FL) Northwestern, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,370 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
