Former FSU RB Rodney Hill visiting Arkansas Razorbacks

Former Florida State running back Rodney Hill is in the transfer portal looking for a new home, and he’s currently visiting the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Hill’s had an interesting last couple of seasons, as he spent the offseason bouncing around programs in the portal after spending the past two seasons at Florida State.

After leaving the Seminoles, he has since committed to Florida A&Mdecommitted from the Rattlerscommitted to Miami, and then rejoined Florida A&M. Now, after all that over the past three months or so, he is once again transferring elsewhere.

Hill appeared in 16 games with FSU the last two seasons, including a dozen last fall as a redshirt freshman. In total, he has rushed for 334 yards and a pair of scores on 77 career carries.

In 2023, Hill rushed 50 times for 190 yards and a score. That was the fourth-most carries for the Seminoles for the third-most rushing yards. He also caught five passes for 83 yards, which averaged out to one of the best numbers on the team at 16.6 yards per reception.

Hill, a native of Statesboro, Georgia, played high school football at Bulloch Academy. He was a three-star prospect and the No. 506 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also rated as the No. 38 RB in the class and the No. 50 player out of his state.

Arkansas transfer P Max Fletcher commits to Cincinnati

Former Arkansas Razorbacks punter Max Fletcher has committed to join the Cincinnati Bearcats via the NCAA transfer portal, he announced on social media.

The Aussie entered the portal following two seasons with the Razorbacks, reopening up recruitment ahead of the 2024 following the Razorbacks’ spring game last Saturday.

Fletcher had a standout season last year for Arkansas, earning All-SEC Second-Team honors after leading the conference with 2,770 punting yards and averaging 46.9 yards per punt. Kicking 19 of his 59 punt attempts inside the 20-yard line highlighted by two games with four punts inside the 20 this past season.

In his true freshman season Fletcher punted in nine games, punting 38 times for an average of 37.5 yards. All in all boasting a 34.5% rate of punts inside the 20-yard line in his 97 punts for the Razorbacks with 4,194 yards of punt yardage under his belt as he looks to join a new program.

Arkansas punter Devin Bale is expected to take over the reigns at punter for Arkansas following a strong spring practice. Replacing the 6-foot-5, 174-pound fletcher who entered the 2023 season as a member of the Ray Guy Award Watch List.

Fletcher was a three-star recruit out of the punting organization Prokick Australia, ranked the No. 4 punter in the 2022 recruiting class according to On3’s Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
