Wisconsin offensive lineman Nolan Rucci has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. After spending three seasons with the Badgers, Rucci will be looking to finish out his college career elsewhere.

There is not too much experience on Rucci’s resume, only playing in five games during his time in Madison. Rucci took a redshirt year as a freshman and after being projected as a tackle coming out of high school, he moved to the interior.

Coaching changes certainly played a role, with Wisconsin making a move in the middle of the 2023 season. Luke Fickell came in this past year but now, Rucci is going to explore options. A program out there is going to be getting somebody who many think still has untapped potential.

Rucci played high school football at Lititz (PA) Warwick, where he was a five-star prospect. He was the No. 18 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
