Report: Georgia transfer Xavian Sorey currently on official visit at Arkansas
Former Georgia linebacker Xavian Sorey is reportedly on an official visit at Arkansas, according to Phillip Dukes.
“I’ve gotten word that former Georgia linebacker Xavian Sorey is currently on an official visit at Arkansas,” Dukes wrote on Twitter. “Wouldn’t be surprised if that deal gets done fast. Would be a huge pickup for the Razorbacks.”
Sorey could jump from SEC school to another and it would be a solid pickup for Sam Pittman and crew.
Sorey played three seasons with the Bulldogs and logged career highs this past year. In total, he has 24 total tackles, 19 solo tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, one pass deflection and one fumble recovery.
As a member of the Class of 2021, Sorey was a four-star recruit out of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 11 overall prospect in the state, the No. 5 linebacker in the class and the No. 46 overall prospect in the class.
