I had forgotten they had the “#1 recruiting class” a few years ago.

I must have missed where they hung a banner for that but I am 100% certain it’s there.

My take from Oxford...What a dump.

I do not like Ole Miss and really love beating them. However, in my opinion, Oxford is not a dump. The stadium is quite nice. Their team is just not as good as ours. Their university is not as good as ours. Their city is not at all superior to ours....and The Grove is overrated. But a dump? Not even close.

Because MSU didn't bring a photographer. I had to use Ole Miss pics for my articles as well.

Sone correction. Gov wrote .. "drizzling rain started blowing in from left field again, chasing hundreds of the remaining Ole Miss diehards to the exits."

Diehard fans don't leave till last pitch. But, maybe OM 'fans' are just wimps.

14-2 the last 16 games vs Ole Miss.

Going back 3yrs when Ole Miss signed the #1 rated recruiting class, that class is 1-11 vs MSU.

"Three years ago, Ole Miss signed what was rated the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation. That class is now 1-11 against the Bulldogs."

HAIL 17'N STATE!

And though I have no desire to go there I would expect Oxford and OM to be anything but a dump. I mean you are talking about a group of people who live for superficial aesthetics and appearances. They care way more about what people think of them than anything else.
