but has anyone seen any billboards congratulating our 3 first rounders? There should be billboards promoting the fact that we swept the individual awards as well. If we don't promote ourselves...

Larry Templeton 2.0 is our AD now. I doubt you'll see much creative or forward thinking on things like that.

Marketing and promotion is not a strong point for our AD. We definitely took a big step back in that regard.

You could make the same case for the production quality of our 'Hype Videos' now.

I'm guessing we cut some funding, or at least deemphasised it. It's not like Loafers was the one editing together those clips and designing those billboards.

While we have a hell of a lot more to beat our chest about these days it appears

there may be a sports billboard cease fire in effect in the name of detoxing the rivalry a little.

How the hell would a billboard congratulating our 3 first rounders be 'toxic" to the rivalry? Would some of their fans get their wittle feewings hurt?

Billboards promoting our draft picks, All-SEC and player trophys wouldn't do a damn thing to make the rivalry more toxic. I can see that we probably don't need any more This is OUR State billboards right now though.

Not sure of the point of this post. Cohen has done a phenomenal job as AD. We have not had as much success with so little funds (compared to our competitors) ever. Ever. If the comment is about marketing only, I'm not sure. But Cohen is getting the job done.
