How many recruits and underclassmen do we lose? I believe all of the early signees are released in the event of a coaching change....

i bet most would stay. its irrelevant really. if these guys get in a system that treats them like we have, they will be rotten just like our underclassmen are. for their sake and what is salvageable, we owe it to our players, present and future, to mold them into the best they can be and that starts with firing moorhead.

They aren't automatically released. They can request to be released but we aren't obligated to do so, although it would be stupid in my opinion not to.

A new coach would have an opportunity to convince them to stick around though. I believe we would retain most of them.

You slow play official action on their release request until Napier has had time to talk them off the ledge. I think we would lose very few, if any.

With the early signing period now over, there are very few spots open at other schools for them to go to. I would guess we would lose 3 max, if any.

Who knows but at this point who cares. I’d sacrifice 2-3 if it meant getting rid of sloppy joe

If we lose half the class, who gives a damn. Moorhead has to go.... and yes, I have defended him a bunch but it’s now clear to me he is completely over his head in on the field coaching

Even if we lost a couple, it would be nothing compared to the shitshow next year's recruiting class will be if we stick with Moorhead. And there's a lot of talent in that class so we need to have our **** together.

This is true...but there are a couple of notable exceptions: Arkansas and Ole Miss.

This. Hell, some early enrollees have already moved in. I’d be shocked if we actually lost more than five players/signees.
