Thanks for running the pool Mike! Always a lot of fun. Looks like that Manchester pick bit me in the behind. Good luck to the four pool survivors left and to all the teams still playing.

Never bet against the Varina Blue Devils cut!

Never bet against the Varina Blue Devils cut!

It was more a bet on Manchester being tired of being the third wheel and a guess(albeit it wrong) that bouncing back from the HS win could create a tough preparation climate. Good luck to Varina! They will have earned it on the road if they finish the deal.

Many great matchups
Lake Taylor lost two to great teams with larger enrollment. How many times can PH Ashland win 9-8?
Tuscarora receivers and balance versus Salem rushing attack.
Heritage Pioneers preparation and tough all around game and quickness versus Lord Botetourt size and blocking
Can the gmen shoot down the Raiders?
Can the Commodores build a Brick House against the Blue Devils?
Can the Tigers hold off the Eagles attack?
Can the Stallions run with the Bulldogs of Westfield?

“Can the Commodores build a Brick House against the Blue Devils?”

It certainly won’t be easy, like a Sunday morning. I’m sure Maury’s coaches will be working on the nightshift this week.
