So we haven't already reached out to him? Who is running our NIL? Still Charlie? How do we not have Boobie on staff making calls to NFLers and big donors?

I don’t read his comments to say he hasn’t done so already, he’s saying he will donate to keep him at State. In other words, telling the talking heads to cool it with the transfer talk because it will be taken care of.

The only way a cap would work is if there were strict unavoidable penalties for violating it. The Kawhi Leonard/Clippers situation comes to mind. But the blue bloods would simply skirt the rules and never be punished while the SMU's of the world would get the death penalty. When Nick Saban openly admits his success was due to Alabama cheating, I'll listen to him about "saving college sports" because I'm absolutely tired of his hypocritical whining. You made this mess little man.

He's quoted as saying he has not been asked to donate to NIL.

Yeah, I’m not gonna overreact too much with this, but that is a pretty bad look for Selmon and crew. We’re sending out weekly emails and letters to folks living paycheck to paycheck, and we haven’t even contacted one of our $158M all pro DTs?
It doesn’t matter it’s all a cover anyways. The money is coming from Vegas they haven’t needed any real donations.

That's my biggest objection, pushing the payrolling to the fanbase. Dont look at me for donations. I spend a ******* fortune just to be able to show up 2-3 times a year.

Guys....if there's one thing I can tell you with certainty....NFL guys have been asked to donate...by numerous people....for the past 25 years. With consistent regularity. That's a fact!
100%. Just because CJ says he hasn't been asked specifically about K1 recently, doesn't mean he's never been called.

We ain't that stupid.
